I've been working on some interesting projects the last few months. In the main image is a pair of bar stools that turned out nicely. I used traditional milk paint on them, the first time I've done this. The effect is rather pleasing.

Courses at my London workshop in Crystal Palace are gathering momentum nicely. I’ve had the first two – a taster session then a stool-making course that finished last week. Both went down really well – axes swinging, shavings flying and everyone getting properly stuck in.
